AKA

Now. Again. Here. The latest creations of diseased minds. Following on from the unexpected success of their previous album "Can’t Pay Won’t Pay", Boggle and Rootsey present their latest sonatas. The sad blues. The happy blues. A Jack Bickles and Grantham T slice up. Produced by the legendary Charitable Status aka all on expenses aka sell a lung to feed the kids, she of agadoo fame, wot all the fuss woz about is here, now, in this tenement. Slab.
Solid, no nonsense knockabout vocal techniques, burrowing onwards and downwards into the heart, into the beast. Mirth makers Rumsey and Baggles sign full confessions before an expectant house, before catapulting into - "Viva Hooky Street", the only song to surive from the notorious "Acid Chicky Tapes", now only available on import from Polish ska label "Boasta Blood". Dropping the cryptic one liners of olde, the all new totally unique, no compromise styling of lead vocalist John Pamsay and backing singer Grunt Beegley, offer intoxicating blasts. Singing and melody have sneaked in the rotting gob of Pamsay, while harmony, previously absent from Beegley's whiplash consciousness, is now firmly screwed to the floor.
Gone now for good the old. No more carping, no more bickering. Happy to sing the songs that make the old feel young. We’re having a snakebite, we’re having a pint, we’re having a snakebite, a pint and half. Truly there is strength in unity.
Here are the songs we want to teach the world to sing. "Snakebite Comeback 99 Style", "Price On Application", "Geezer Remixer", " Evolution Isn’t Over Yet (I’m calling my lawyer mix)" "Cracker Anthem - do it da Dennistoun way!"
Imagining the start of something financed, funded and supported has lead to innovations in both technique and content. From tiny little acorns of hope seeded deep in the belly of the beast, swollen pink bodies of yearning desire have sprouted. Leaving behind the rank, stale putrid corpses of fevered little wannabe pop sensations, all neo bop prawns lilting at 45 degrees, the sunshine which breaks forth from such rotten gobs as Rumsaysay und Buggles, astonishes.
With a fresh sound, crudely carved from the young mind of Dan 'The Body' Wilson via the battered bloodshot mainframe of The Wax Dwarf AKA Dr F L Panza... AKA - this is an album which promises more than it could ever imagine to escape from. Sit back, throw away that dead skin and descend with us in to a time we forgot. Available now for only £5.99!
